Oasis é uma banda de rock and roll de Manchester, Inglaterra. O grupo surgiu no cenário mundial entre 1994 e 1997, como uma marca do tradicional rock britânico, que estava em baixa graças ao surgimento de outras correntes musicais, como o grunge americano. A banda estabeleceu-se como uma das mais aclamadas dos anos 90, não apenas graças à qualidade de sua música, mas também através do comportamento peculiar de seus membros, o que inclui abuso de álcool e drogas, confrontamentos com a mídia, e brigas entre os dois irmãos Liam e Noel Gallagher.
